We are seeking on-call Head Start Site Substitutes to assist Head Start Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Classroom Aides in providing quality services to preschoolers and their families. The positions are based in White Center and are part an innovative Educare Program and White Center Early Learning Initiative (<span class="caps">WCELI</span>) which provides services to children and families in the multi-cultural communities of White Center and Burien.</p> <p>Successful candidates must obtain Food Handler&#8217;s Permit , CPR/First Aide Certificate and Tuburculosis test ( within the last 6 months) prior to employment.<br /> Please email resume including previous child care experience and 2 current references.</p> <p>Schedule: On-call position. The lead teachers main responsibilities are; fostering social and emotional growth of his/her students; creating community between staff, parents, and children; observing children and their environments so they can set up learning activities and the classroom environment in a way that builds on individual and class interests and goals; curriculum planning. The main goals that we have for our children are to instill a love for learning by offering new and meaningful experiences, teach children how to work together, and give children the skills to resolve conflicts without teacher intervention.
