Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) Local Program Coordinator
at WA State Child Care Resource & Referral Network in Vancouver
The Washington State Child Care Resource & Referral Network (CCR&R Network) QRIS Local Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the CCR&R Network’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) efforts in the local community. The Washington Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) is our state’s voluntary program for helping licensed child care providers offer high-quality care. The CCR&R Network is responsible for the “Improvement” efforts in the development of a statewide QRIS that includes working with QRIS local communities to offer consistent high quality supports to providers that include, but are not limited to, technical assistance, professional development, on-site consultation, and coaching.
In collaboration with the QRIS Program Manager, the local CCR&R regional liaison for QRIS, the Professional Development Director, CCR&R Network local QRIS coordinators, non-CCR&R Network QRIS staff and other CCR&R Network staff, this position is responsible to develop and maintain program expertise and represent the CCR&R Network at local, statewide and national meetings and conferences. The QRIS Local Program Coordinator reports to CCR&R Network QRIS Program Manager.
This position will be out-stationed in the field in either Spokane, WA or Vancouver, WA at the local child care resource & referral program office. Travel to the CCR&R Network office in Tacoma at least once a month for meetings will be required.
