Lead Two Year Old Teacher
at Phinney Ridge Lutheran CDC in Seattle
The position available is for the lead teacher in a class of 10 (5-1 student-teacher ratio) 2-3 year olds. The lead teachers main responsibilities are; fostering social and emotional growth of his/her students; creating community between staff, parents, and children; observing children and their environments so they can set up learning activities and the classroom environment in a way that builds on individual and class interests and goals; curriculum planning. The main goals that we have for our children are to instill a love for learning by offering new and meaningful experiences, teach children how to work together, and give children the skills to resolve conflicts without teacher intervention.
