Support Staff/Preschool Teacher
at Hutch Kids Child Care in Seattle
Hutch Kids is the on-site, NAEYC accredited, employer sponsored child care program serving Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and community members.
Position Available
Support Staff/ Classroom Teacher- We are seeking experienced candidates for the position of Support Staff (i.e., classroom float). There is a possibility that this position will lead to a preschool teaching opportunity late spring or early summer. At Hutch Kids, the curriculum is emergent in nature and thoughtfully constructed to encourage children’s self-confidence, spontaneity, curiosity, and self-discipline. As a whole and within each classroom, we consider ourselves a community of learners. Low classroom ratios allow for the development of secure, lasting relationships between children, caregivers, and families.
Successful candidates will have taken college level early childhood courses, have experience working with young children in a group setting, and demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
