Denise Louie Education Center (DLEC) is a multi cultural Head Start program serving over 200 children and families at three locations in Seattle.

We are hiring for a Center Supervisor at the International District Site. Please submit a cover letter, resume AND a complete application for employment available at www.deniselouie.org. General Description of Duties
The center supervisor is responsible for the overall facilitation of the delivery of classroom and educational services at the International District site. The center supervisor supervises teachers and teacher assistants. The primary goal of the center supervisor is to assist the staff in providing a quality preschool experience. The center supervisor will accomplish this by:

Job Requirements for this Position
1. AA, BA or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
2. Three years experience teaching pre-school children.
3. Completion of 20 hours STARS training preferred or wiliness to acquire 20 hours STARS training or wavier with in first six month of employment
4. Willingness to complete 10 hours of STARS training annually
5. Food Handlers Permit
6. Valid Washington State Drivers License and access to reliable, insured, personal transportation with proof of current automobile insurance.
7. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends and any/all hours needed to complete job description requirements.
8. Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
9. Computer proficiency
10. Knowledge of basic office equipment; copy, fax, voice mail etc.
11. Excellent organization and time management skills
12. Those skills and abilities, which meet generally, accepted levels of management and supervision; including professionalism, monitoring, supervision, organizations, analysis, and presentation.
13. Previous Supervisory experience preferred
14. Bilingual in languages spoken by the children and families served preferred

Rate of Pay: starting range of $15.91 to $18.88 per hour plus benefits, Full time.
